Vehicle fire

Crews were mobilised by Fire Control to reports of a tractor and baler on fire at the above location.

On arrival, the Incident Commander confirmed that a tractor towing a baler in a field was well alight and quickly got crews to work to tackle the fire using breathing apparatus, main jets, compressed air foam and drag forks.

Water was shuttled to the incident with a water carrier.

The fire, which started accidentally, caused 100% damage to the tractor and baler and some scorching to the field it was in.
