Vehicle fire

Fire control received reports to a vehicle on fire at the above location. 

Control immediately mobilised 1 fire appliance which came from Burnham On Sea. 

Once in attendance crews confirmed 1 van well alight and got to work to extinguish the fire. 

Crews successfully extinguished the fire using 1 Breathing Apparatus, 1 Hose Reel Jet and a1 Thermal Imaging Camera. 

The van was 80% damaged by fire and 10 metres of fencing in the surrounding area was also damaged due to fire spread. 

This incident was left in the hands of the Police as crews believe this to be deliberate ignition.
