Vehicle fire

One fire engine was sent to a report of a van on fire. On arrival crews confirmed this van was in a lane and well alight. Crews extinguished the fire using:

• 2 Breathing apparatus
• 1 Hose reel jet
• 1 Thermal image camera
• Small tools

The van was 50 per cent damaged by fire and the cause was believed to have been deliberate. The Police were requested and the incident handed over to them.
