Vehicle fire

Fire Control received a call from a member of the public stating a car on fire near to the above location.

Control immediately mobilised 1 fire appliance which attended from Somerton.

Once on scene crews confirmed 1 vehicle that had left the roadway and was in a ditch well alight and got to work extinguishing the fire use 2 Breathing Apparatus and 2 Hose Reel Jets. 

Unfortunately the car was 100% damaged by fire. 

The cause is believed to have been deliberate.
