Vehicle fire

Fire control received a call to a tractor on fire in Bishopswood near Chard.

Control mobilised 2 fire appliances from Chard and a water bowser from Yeovil.

Once the first appliance was scene, they confirmed no further resources were required and crews were investigating the tractor look for any signs of fire.

Crews confirmed there was a small fire within dashboard of tractor. Crews extinguished using 1 bucket of water, 1 thermal imaging camera and small tools. This was confirmed as accidental.
