Vehicle fire

Fire control received multiple calls for a Baler on fire in a field in Tiverton.

1 fire engine from Tiverton, 1 fire engine from Middlemoor and a water carrier from Danes Castle ( Exeter) attended the incident.

On arrival crews confirmed 1 baler well alight, with 2 seats of fire in the field, crews immediately got to work with 1 breathing apparatus, 1 hose, 1 compressed air foam system, 1 triple extension ladder, small tools, beaters and positive pressure ventilation to extinguish the fire.

The baler is 100% damaged by fire and the field sustained 10% fire damage.
