Vehicle fire

In the early hours of this morning fire control received multiple requests for attendance and an RTC on the A39 for a 2 vehicle RTC which caused the vehicles to ignite.

On arrival the incident commander confirmed a 2 vehicle RTC and both vehicles well alight, and got to work to extinguish the fire.

A short while later the incident commander confirmed that the fire to be out, crews used 2 Breathing apparatus, 1 Thermal imaging camera and 1 hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.

The casualties were left in the hands of the ambulance service and the road is set te closed for a while after.
