Road traffic collision

Fire control received a call from Devon & Cornwall Police requesting our assistance at an RTC on Haye road in Plymouth.

Control mobilised 2 fire appliances from Greenbank and 1 fire appliance from Crownhill.

Once on scene, crews confirmed a 1 vehicle RTC and the car had come to rest on its roof with 1 casualty still within the vehicle. There was also a low voltage electricity pole that had been brought down in the accident which Western Power Distribution were on scene and dealing with. 

Crews confirmed that 1 casualty had been removed from the vehicle and left in the hands of South Western Ambulance Service. In total, 2 casualties were conveyed to hospital and the incident was left in the hands of the Police.
