Road traffic collision

Fire control mobilised two fire engines and a heavy rescue vehicle to a report of a road traffic collision between a lorry and a pick up truck, with possibly people trapped. On arrival crews confirmed there was a collision and there was one person still physically trapped and two walking wounded.

Crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to release the casualty and they were handed over to the Ambulance paramedics.
