Road traffic collision

Fire Control received a call reporting 1 vehicle on its side near Wincanton.  2 fire engines from Wincanton and Castle Cary, as well as the Heavy Rescue Unit from Yeovil were mobilised.

Fire crews confirmed 1 vehicle which had left the highway and was on its side in a hedge.  1 male driver was still within the vehicle.

Fire crews assisted the driver from the vehicle using stabilisation equipment.
