Road traffic collision

Earlier this evening, Fire Control received several calls reporting a road traffic collision near the above location.

Crews were quickly mobilised to the scene and on arrival, confirmed a one vehicle collision with one casualty still inside the vehicle.

Due to the vehicle being in a precarious position, crews began to set up equipment and make the vehicle safe in order to assist in extricating the casualty.

Police and Ambulance were also on scene and with the assistance of a doctor and paramedics, crews were able to release the casualty from the vehicle.
