Road traffic collision

Crews from South Molton and Barnstaple attended a single vehicle road traffic collision on the A361 near to the Bish Mill Gate roundabout. On arrival on scene one person had self-extricated from the vehicle and there was another person still trapped within the car. Crews stabilised the vehicle and extricated the casualty using hydraulic rescue equipment, two tirfor winches, a short extension ladder, small tools, and V-struts. The casualty was left in the care of paramedics and the vehicle was made safe by crews before leaving the scene.
