Road traffic collision

Crews from Wincanton, Castle Cary, and Yeovil attended a road traffic collision on the Westbound carriageway of the A303 near Wincanton where a car had left the roadway and gone down an embankment. Crews worked together and extricated the casualty using cutting gear and small tools to remove undergrowth which was trapping the casualty. Duty of care was then handed over to Ambulance personnel.
