Road traffic collision

We received a call reporting a road traffic collision between a lorry and a car on the A37 near Gurney Slade. 3 fire engines and a heavy rescue unit were sent.

On arrival crews confirmed this collision involved 2 lorry's and 1 car, with 1 person trapped in the car. Crews used cutting equipment to remove the car door and the driver was able to walk out under the guidance of paramedics on scene.

All 3 vehicles were made safe and the incident was left in the hands of the Police.
