Road traffic collision

2 fire appliances from Crownhill and Camels Head (Plymouth stations) were mobilised to the A386 Derriford Roundabout at Derriford in Plymouth, following a request from the Police for our assistance to a 2 vehicle RTC, where one person was reported to be trapped. 

Crews were on scene within minutes and confirmed that whilst there was one person within the vehicle they were not medically or physically trapped but unable to safely exit the vehicle due its proximity to the other vehicle. Once crews created space and made it safe for the driver to exit the vehicle they were checked over by on scene paramedics, along with the driver of the other vehicle, as a precaution. The incident was then left in the hands of Police for scene safety.
