Rescue

Crews from Torquay, Paignton, and the aerial appliance from Danes Castle, attended a property on Brunel Road in Paignton where the occupier had gotten stuck on the roof after slipping while trying to access a bird nest. Crews rescued the gentleman from the roof of the single storey domestic property using a triple extension ladder, roof ladder, a stretcher, and a casualty harness. The gentleman was then handed over to Ambulance personnel.
