Rescue

Fire Control received a call from Coastguard requesting assistance with a rib with 3 persons on board that was stuck in the mud. 

Crews from Kingsbridge, Camels Head and 2 Fire Officers were mobilised to this incident.

Crews were able to locate a visual on the persons stuck on board the vessel and worked with Coastguard to formulate a rescue plan.

Crews are currently using mud mats, dry suits and specialist rescue equipment to rescue those onboard.

16:51 - 2x adult males and 1x adult female have been rescued and are now back safe on dry land.
