Devon and Somerset Fire Control received a call reporting a 13 year old male who had fallen down a bank into water.

On arrival, the Incident Commander confirmed that the boy had fallen down an 8 foot bank and was stuck in about 2 foot of water. Crews got to work to assist the boy from the river using a short extension ladder and dry suits.

The boy sustained minor injuries and was treated by paramedics on scene.
