Property fire

Fire Crews attended a fire involving a dishwasher at a property in Ilfracombe. The fire was found to be out on arrival of crews however a female occupant was suffering with smoke inhalation and was conveyed to hospital in a land ambulance. The cause of the fire was accidental.

There were no smoke alarms within the property so crews have now fitted smoke alarms.
