Property fire

Following reports of an Alarm sounding, a Fire Engine was mobilised to an address in Dartmouth.

Upon arrival crews requested further appliances were mobilised, reporting that the bathroom was well alight. Crews donned Breathing Apparatus and once inside confirmed that the fire had spread to the kitchen.

Once the fire was extinguished and alongside damping down, Crews spent time identifying voids and checking them for fire spread.

Crews remained on scene to continue checking for hotspots.

• Dry powder extinguishers
• Thermal image camera
• Small tools
• Halligan bar
• 135 ladder
• Triple extension ladder
• Short extension ladder
• Aerial ladder platform

One casualty was treated on scene by Ambulance Crews.  The cause is believed to be accidental.
