Property fire

2 fire appliances from our Middlemoor Station in Exeter were mobilised to a house in Pippin Close, Exeter following a call from the owner. 2 garden sheds had accidentally caught fire after an electrical fire in one shed, subsequently spread to a smaller adjoining one and an area of fencing. 

Crews were soon on scene and worked well to bring the fire under control, preventing it from spreading further. They isolated the electric supply to the shed before extinguishing the fire with 2 breathing apparatus, 1 hose reel jet and small tools. The incident was brought under control at 18:54hrs with crew remaining on scene dampening down and making the area safe. There were no casualties and crews have now come away from the scene, leaving duty of care with the owner.
