Property fire

Fire control received a call from a member of the public who could see a static caravan on fire in the Godney area of Wells.

Fire control mobilised 1 appliance from Glastonbury, 1 from Street and 1 4x4 vehicle from Wells.

Crews confirmed 1 static caravan was 90% destroyed by fire and crews extinguished this using 1 Compressed Air Foam Jet, 1 Hose reel jet, drag forks and a Thermal Imaging Camera. 

This is believed to be a deliberate ignition and police also attended.
