Property fire

Crews from Bideford and Appledore attended a domestic fire in Bideford. The fire was located in the ground floor flat of a two storey building. Crews used four breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, one covering jet, one thermal imaging camera, and one positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the fire. One male had self-rescued prior to the arrival of the fire service, and was conveyed to hospital by Ambulance. The cause of the fire is thought to be accidental.
