Property fire

Fire control received reports that there was smoke issuing from the first floor window of a block of flats along with the alarms sounding. 

Control immediately mobilised 2 Fire Engines and a supporting officer. 

Once on scene crews confirmed smoking issuing and a fire within the kitchen of a property on the ground floor and immediately got to work to extinguish the fire using 2 Breathing Apparatus, 1 Hose Reel Jet and 1 Dry Powder extinguisher. 

Crews successfully extinguished a fire involving plastic left on top of an electrical hob.
