Property fire

Fire control received a call this afternoon from an occupant of a property on Queens Avenue in Ilfracombe stating there was fire in a bedroom. 

Control mobilised an appliance from Ilfracombe, Braunton and Barnstaple along with an Officer.

On arrival crews confirmed a fire in the bedroom of a 2 storey domestic property. Crews were at work extinguishing the fire using 2 Breathing Apparatus, 1 Hose reel jet, 1 Safety jet and 1 Positive Pressure Ventilation fan.

Crews confirmed the fire was extinguished and the bedroom has been 60% damaged by fire. The fire was deemed accidental.
