Property fire

Fire crews from Axminster and Colyton were mobilised to a report of a motorhome on fire in the Kilmington area.

Upon arrival, crews confirmed that a motorhome was well alight.

At 12:59 - Crews got to work using 2x breathing apparatus, 3x hose reel jets and 1x light portable pump to supplement water out of a nearby pond. 

At 13:20 - Crews confirmed the fire was not out and are monitoring the vehicle using a thermal imaging camera. 

At 14:07 - Crews confirmed that this was an American style motorhome 100% damaged by fire. This is believed to be accidental ignition.
