Property fire

2 fire appliances from Frome were mobilised this morning to Marston Park camp site at Marston Bigot, after a metal shed containing refrigeration equipment caught fire. 

Once on scene crews worked well to bring the fire under control using hose reel jets. The fire started accidentally, after an unattended bonfire left during the night, spread to the shed. Crews made good and steady progress bringing the incident under control at 0928hrs. Unfortunately they were unable to save the shed, which was destroyed, but prevented the fire from spreading any further to nearby structures and woodland. There were no casualties and once the area was made safe duty of care was left with site staff.
