Property fire

Fire control received multiple calls to a portakabin on fire on Breakwater Road in Plymouth.

Control mobilised 2 appliances from Greenbank and Plymstock.

On route the attending Greenbank appliance confirmed this structure to be well alight.

Once on scene, crews confirmed 1 portakabin and surrounding hedgerow on wasteland well alight and crews were extinguishing using 2 breathing apparatus, 1 attack jet and 2 hose reel jets.

Final update - crews confirmed 1 portakabin and 5 meters of surrounding hedgerow completely destroyed by fire. Crews extinguished the fire using 2 breathing apparatus, 1 attack jet, thermal imaging camera and 2 hose reel jets. This fire was deemed as deliberate and the incident was left in the hands of Police.
