Property fire

Fire Control received multiple reports of property on fire. On arrival crews confirmed a fire in the basement measuring ten metres by ten metres. Crews requested a further two fire engines. Once all four crews got to work to extinguish the fire another two fire engines were requested for further support. 

Equipment currently in use is as follows:

• Four breathing apparatus
• One attack jet
• One covering jet
• Ease sets
• Two positive pressure ventilation fans

This incident is ongoing. 

Update 10:26am - The fire is now out and the incident is being scaled back to four fire engines. 

Update 10:51am - Breathing apparatus and positive pressure ventilation fans have now been discontinued. 

Update 17:37pm - All crews have come away from this incident and it is now closed. The cause is believed to be accidental.
