Property fire

Fire Control mobilised fire appliances from Buckfastleigh and Totnes to reports of a fire within commercial workshops in the Broadhempston area. Further appliances from Paignton and Torquay were also mobilised due to reports of the workshops being heavily alight. 

The single storey construction measured 60x30 metres and was fully engulfed in fire. Crews got to work extinguishing the fire using 1 x aerial ladder platform from Torquay, 5 x attack jets, 1 x water tower and 3 x LPPs. 

Crews have confirmed that the cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
