Property fire

Fire control received a 999 call reporting a property on fire. 4 fire engines were immediately sent. On arrival crews have confirmed that this property was fully involved in fire and at currently at work trying to extinguish the fire using main jets and hose reel jets.

Update 0815 hours

The fire service are still in attendance with 4 fire engines. This is a 2 storey domestic property, fully involved in fire. crews are currently using 5 main jets to try and extinguish the fire. Crews are fighting the fire externally due to the unsafe stability of the property. 

The roof has collapsed into the building and most of the first floor has collapsed.

Crews pumping from an open water source and a water carrier. Police and ambulance also in attendance.

Update 4.50pm

One fire crew will remain on scene overnight keeping a watching brief and damping down hotspots.
