Property fire

Fire control received as call regarding a shed fire on Hall hill, Brendon.

A fire engine from Lynton, Porlock and Combe Martin attended the incident alongside an officer.

On arrival the crews confirmed the building was in fact a barn and was well alight, requesting a Water bowser attend. Control mobilised the bowser from Barnstable.

Crews got to work with 2 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets to tackle the fire, the roof and first floor have collapsed in to the building. Crew from Minehead have relieved the initial team and will remain on scene damping down monitoring hotspots with a thermal imaging camera.
