Property fire

Fire control received a call this evening reporting an alarm. A second call from a resident prompted and escalation of the incident and 3 fire engines were mobilised. On arrival crews confirmed a fire on the second floor of an accommodation block.

Crews confirmed a fire involving food in a microwave.  Crews extinguished the fire using two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet.
