Property fire

Fire control have sent 2 fire engines, an aerial platform ladder and a water bowser to a report of a grain dryer on fire in Cannington.

Crews are liaising with on site staff to empty the dryer and moving the burnt grain to a safe site.

This grain dryer was 15 m x 10 m and contained approximately 80 tonnes of grain. 75 per cent of the grain was unaffected and removed. The remaining 25 per cent was removed to a safe location. Equipment used

All crews have now left the scene.
