Property fire

Fire control received a call regarding a domestic fire in a high rise in Plymouth.

2 Fire engines from Greenbank, 2 from Crownhill, 1 from Camels head attended the incident alongside an ariel ladder from Camles head and various officers.

On arrival crews confirmed a washing machine fire in a ground floor flat.

Crews removed the washing machine to fresh air and got to work with 2 breathing apparatus, 3 jets, 1 gas monitor, small tools and positive pressure ventilation to tackle the fire and make the property safe.

No residents were harmed.
