Property fire

Fire control received multiple calls to a motorbike fire within a residential building in Totnes. We instructed the caller to activate the communal alarm system and evacuate the building.

2 Fire engines from Totnes and Paignton attended the incident alongside an officer.

On arrival crews got to work with a thermal imaging camera and a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and began ventilating the area and first floor flats.

The moped is 100% damaged by fire, with 2 % damage to the property.

This is believed to have been intentional at this time.
