Fire control received a call to The Archers Way in Glastonbury regarding a vehicle battery that was hissing. 

1 fire engine from Glastonbury attended the incident, on arrival they were able to confirm that the battery within the engine compartment was bulging and overheating using a thermal imaging camera. 

Crews worked to isolate the battery and remove this from the vehicle to a safe place and used a hose to cool the battery.
