Hazardous materials

Fire Control received a call from an gas engineer in attendance at a property in the South Street area of Taunton who was getting gas readings on his personal monitoring equipment. 

2x crews from Taunton were mobilised alongside with 2x officers.

Crews worked with Wales and West and advised nearby resident to evacuate for their safety. 

Crews gained entry to the property in question using small tools and confirmed there was a gas leak. Wales and West managed to isolate the gas leak.
