Hazardous materials

Crews attended an incident where a pipe in a commercial building had fractured causing a leak of a hazardous gas. Crews cordoned off the area and took readings with gas monitoring equipment until the arrival of a specialist contractor. Crews assisted the specialist advisor with two breathing apparatus wearers, and confirmed the scene was made safe. Duty of care was left with site staff.
