Animal Rescue

Brixham attended farm land off Broad Road, Kingswear for a dog reported trapped in a tree. On arrival they discovered a terrier that was stuck deep inside the tree root area where it had been for approximately 24 hours.  Firefighters used small tools, cutting gear and scene lighting to remove the dog from the tree roots. The dog was uninjured and returned to its owners.
