Animal rescue

A crew from Bridgwater were called to assist a farmer at Greylake Bridge, King Sedgemoor Drain nr Westonzoyland to help him rescue a bullock that could not climb out of a water filled ditch and had been in there for some time. Personnel worked alongside the farmer and were eventually able to get a head restraint on the animal, thus allowing them to walk it to safety and out of the water. The bullock was unharmed and left in the care of the farmer.
