Vehicle fire

Fire control recieved reports of a vehicle on fire on the M5A Southbound between junction 30 and 31. 

Control immediately mobilised 2 fire appliances from Danes Castle. Once on scene crews confirmed a fire in the engine compartment and got straight to work using 2 breathing apparatus and 1 hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. 

The car was 50% damaged by fire and 100% damaged by smoke, duty of care was left with Highways.
