Fire control received multiple reports to a vehicle on fire on the road near to the above location.
Control immediately mobilised one Fire Appliance which came from Axminster.
Once on scene crews confirmed one 4x4 well alight and got to work extinguishing the fire.
Crews used 2 Breathing Apparatus 2 Hose Reel Jets 1 Thermal Imaging camera and Small tools to extinguish the fire.
Once extinguished crews confirmed that the vehicle had been 100% damaged by smoke and fire, ands that recovery of the vehicle was being arranged by the owner.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
