Fire Control received multiple calls reporting a car on fire in the road near to Lancaster Drive in Paignton earlier today.
Upon arrival, fire crews were able to confirm 1 x Mini Cooper well alight on the public highway and the fire had affected two neighbouring vehicles parked next to this vehicle.
The fire was extinguished using 2 x breathing apparatus, 2 x hose reel jets, 1 x thermal imaging camera and unfortunately was 100% damaged by the fire. The neighbouring vehicles were 10% damaged by the fire.
Cause of this fire is believed to be accidental.
