Crews from Torrington, Bideford and Barnstaple were mobilised to a call from the driver of a large farm vehicle which had caught fire in a field of a farm at Huntshaw nr Bideford.
On arrival crews confirmed the vehicle was well alight and set to work extinguishing it. They made good and steady progress bringing the fire under control, with 2 hose reel jets, at 1900hrs but unfortunately the telehandler was 100% destroyed by fire. Once the vehicle and scene had been made safe duty of care was left the farmer.
