Vehicle fire

Fire crews from Chagford attended reports of a vehicle fire in the area of Stiniel cross, Higher Stiniel near Chagford. Upon arrival vehicle was found to be well alight. Crews extinguished using compressed air foam jets and breathing apparatus. Vehicle was 100 percent damaged by fire and cause is believed to be deliberate arson. Incident and scene handed over to Police. No further information on this incident, incident now closed.
