Vehicle fire

Fire Control received a call reporting a telehandler on fire in North Molton, crews from Barnstaple and South Molton were immediately mobilised.

Shortly after booking in attendance, crew confirmed that the telehandler was well alight and got to work using 2x hose reel jets, 1x thermal image camera, 1x hydrant and environmental pads. Crew also spent time cooling the fuel tanks to the telehandler which contained approx 50litres of diesel and 100l of oil.

The cause of the fire was accidental.
