At 01:11 Fire Control received multiple calls reporting a car on fire and mobilised crews from Greenbank Fire Station.
On arrival crews confirmed one vehicle well alight and used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to attack the fire.
At 01:58 the fire was under control crews confirmed one vehicle was 100% destroyed by fire and a second vehicle in close proximity was 5% damaged by fire. Crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and tools to extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
