Vehicle fire

Fire control received a call to a vehicle on fire in the Waterlip area of Shepton Mallet.

Control mobilised crews from Shepton Mallet.

Once on scene, crews confirmed 1 vehicle that was off the highway well alight and crews were getting prepared to wear breathing apparatus whilst 2 hose reel jets were in use extinguishing the fire. 

Final update - 1 vehicle fire was extinguished using 2 breathing apparatus, 2 hose reel jets, 2 thermal imaging cameras and e-draulic cutting equipment. Crews confirmed this fire to be accidental and the incident was left in the hands of the police.
