Vehicle fire

Fire Control mobilised both the on-duty and on-call crew from Barnstaple to a report of a vehicle fire on the A361. The caller confirmed that all occupants were free from the vehicle and were in a place of safety.

Upon arrival, crews stated that there was no sign of fire and after investigating they believe this was smoke and fluid from the engine cooling system.
